Like so many of us, I became a healer because I needed healing! In 2013, after a mercury filling was dry drilled from my mouth, without proper SAFE protocol) I became VERY ill. For a long time my face turned all red and blotchy. I visited a half dozen dermatologists and all they wanted to do was prescribe drugs or use steroids. I was terrified. That’s how my husband and I found ourselves in a deep dive into ancient healing techniques when conventional medicine failed us.

Albert and I began to learn how the body works, what’s bad and good for it, and how to detox safely. This inspired me to create VanCoction salves. Get some today!

It’s been my Salve-ation!

Vanessa has a lot to celebrate at the 2015 New York City Dance Parade. She looks and feels so much better.

This is what happened to Vanessa’s face after the vaporized mercury from the filling spread throughout her body.

After Vanessa fell ill from mercury poisoning, and I began learning how badly mercury can poison living systems, in 2015 I started a public education program about the dangers of mercury, called Mercury Free Kids.

We did public outreach and lots of events.

In July 2018, after 15 years in New York City, we decided to take the show on the road. Only this time we weren’t performing, but researching. How was it that prior to the advent of modern medicine, so many people lived so long and prospered?

We studied estuaries, and mineral springs across the United States. We found long buried and hidden springs from public knowledge, ones that the Lennai Lenape called “Cacapon” waters, or medicine waters. French Lick Indiana, in the middle of the Hoosier National Forest at times reeked of sulfur. What were 4 star hotels doing in the middle of the Hoosier National Forest? By 1917, Pluto water, bottled from their springs, was selling more than a million dollars a year of the stuff.

The water's laxative properties were from its high native content of mineral salts, with the active ingredient listed as sodium and magnesium sulfate, which are known as natural laxatives.

With the increasing income, lobbying, and marketing powers of big pharma, they in essence put a stop to the bottling of the waters. Why drink water that will give you the runs, if you can just take a bunch of antibiotics?

We were on to something. With wide eyes open, we headed to Florida and the Everglades, where Vanessa produced her first Simple Salves.
